Sure everyone wants new golf clubs but do you really need them? Take this quick five question quiz to help you determine if you really need new clubs or if what you have currently will do just fine for the time being.

1) Are your clubs 4 years or older?

If you have older clubs then you should certainly consider investing in a new set. The technological advances alone will almost automatically help your game.

2) Do you have the budget for the clubs you want?

Golf is really a rich mans sport. New golf clubs is a big reason, because they are not cheap. For example, Callaway Golf is a great club. But they are also one of, if not the most expensive golf club manufacturer. They have a good reputation, but this means you need to buy Callaway, if your budget says no? Of course not. There are a lot of qualities that all club budgets. If you go to a higher-end store, but not limited to itsa burden on your finances.

3) If you play enough to justify the additional cost?

For most golfers do not play, but a couple of times in the summer. If this is you, you must have a heart to heart with yourself to see if it justifies the investment in a new set of golf clubs. If financially then by all means go with the dice, but if you're like the rest of us, buying a new one may need to be put on hold.

4) Do you want new clubs for the right reasons?

Why do you want a new series?Is it because your buddy got a new set and your wanting to keep up with him? Or is it because you actually want to become a better golfer. Only you know the reason so be honest with yourself and make the right decision for you.

5) Will your significant other kick you out?

Alas, if you buy a new set of clubs will your significant other freak out and kick you out of the house? If this is even a remote possibility then I would say pass on the new clubs for now. Unless you buy them something nice first to build up your brownie points.
